Xiu Feng Gao Graduated from the Bethune medical university in 1983. After graduation she was mainly engaged in clinical work in maternal and child hospital of jilin city since 1983 to 1992. She received medicine doctorate from Tokyo university of Japan in 1999. And then She came to sichuan university as a professor of the 214 talent introduction program at sichuan university in 2004; In June 2005, she was awarded the doctoral supervisor of sichuan university.

She was hired as experts of scientific research and reward assessment expert of the national science and technology development center, the ministry of education, the ministry of health and the science and technology department of sichuan province since 2006 to now.

Her main research fields are biosensing technology, protein bioengineering, tumor gene diagnosis and biochemical detection.She has published more than 100 papers including 36 SCI papers so far.
