Tongbo ZHU,Professor. Obtained B.S. degree from the Department of Biotechnology, Sichuan University. Obtained Ph.D degree from the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Studied and worked in multiple universities as postdoctoral fellow or research associate, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Boston University, and Harvard Medical School. Started working in the Department of Immunology, School of Basic Medical sciences & Forensic Medicine, Sichuan University in November, 2013. The main focus of research is studying the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis, apoptosis and the interactions between tumor and the immune system.
