Dr Bao studied at the University of California, Berkeley, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Medical Sciences, etc. He engaged in the research of molecular pathogenic mechanism of pathogenic microorganisms, infection immunity, pathogenic gene structure and function and molecular vaccines. He is leading domestically in the research of major infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and leptospirosis, and has great academic influence at home and abroad. In recent years, he has published more than 100 related articles in international and domestic core journals, and has been cited byS CI, EI, Medline and other retrieval systems and cited by domestic and international peers.
