1998年10月至2001年9月在美国圣地亚哥贝汉姆研究所工作学习。历任华西医科大学法医学院工会主席、华西医科大学工会青年工作部部长及华西医科大学发展委员会委员、法医教工支部书记、法医教学实验室主任。现任中华医学会等医疗事故鉴定专家库专家。

获四川省教学成果一等奖(2005年5月，排名第五）、国家级教学成果二等奖(2005年9月，排名第五）、四川省科枝进步二等奖一项（编号2013-02-46-R05）、中华医学三等奖1项（编号201303244P0804）。

讲授法医毒理学、法医病理学案例实践课程。

长期从事法医病理学及法医临床学检案、教学、科研工作。主持国家自然科学基金项目2项、四川省科技厅项目1项，参加973项目分课题2项、国家杰出青年基金1项。近五年通讯作者发表SCI论文8篇。主编十一五规划教材《法医学实习指导》，参编十五规划教材《法医毒理学》、面向二十一世纪教材《法医学》，参编《法医学临床学理论与实践》、《法医学辞典》、《法医学轻重伤鉴定指南》3部专著的编写工作。
